- Planting: For a crop of a columnar fruit tree in pots or tubs, choose a container whose dimensions will be at least equal to 50 cm in diameter or side and as much in height. For cultivation in open ground, it will need to be at least equal to 50 cm side and as much in depth. Trees need to be watered more often and abundantly in the first month after planting (once a week, the following months every 10-14 days in dry weather).
